The culture and the mission. Stitch Fix takes pride in building teams full of bright, kind, and motivated people. The company and the people truly believe in everyone “being their best selves,” and working together to transform the way people find what they love.
It’s an authentic, altruistic vibe rooted in caring about others—and I’m hooked! That helps explain why I boomeranged back to Stitch Fix in 2020!
A cool mix of empathy and mind reading! Actually, a real passion for learning what motivates people, and translating their intent into useful, inspiring, delightful experiences.
I realized early on that I love investigating drivers of human behavior, so I got a PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. After a 10-year career building leadership training and performance assessment technologies for the US Military, I’m absolutely loving the innovation behind transforming the way people find what they love.

Rejoining Stitch Fix in 2020 after 3 years away and helping build one of tech’s most innovative, ambitious, and fun UX Research Teams. And it’s happening! I was originally a Manager in the Algorithms team, and after pivoting to UX Research at Facebook, I was over-the-moon excited to come back to Stitch Fix to help stand up a new UX Research function at Stitch Fix.
“Be more spontaneous!” I was a born planner, raised by planners. Until a wise friend long ago told me to “be more spontaneous.” It pushed me out of my comfort zone, but a newfound love for spontaneity has produced some of the most magical moments in my life. #noregrets
Lots of sports! I play tennis and adult softball, coach my kids’ baseball and soccer teams, play pick-up basketball and football with the kids and neighbors. I love to watch movies and laugh with the kids, find my inner peace in nature (hikes, beach, waterfalls, etc.), and enjoy a beer, whiskey, or glass of wine with family and friends.
